doodle

Hi,
Here are some useful hints in digital inking I used in making this picture.
1. Using primitive shapes and tools to divide those shapes during inking.
2. Using primitives of same background color and no border to hide unwanted lines.
3. Rediting parts that may not look well in concept while keeping inking of other parts that worked well.

Also a small tip, for the line that makes the grin I wanted the grin to overlap the eye. Since I wasn't sure how to keep the bottom of the grin transparent while keeping the fill, I made a duplicate of the grin. So one had the fill with no border, and the second had the line for the grin.

Hope this was helpful.
Thanks,
Nate
