These are two very quick rough doodles I made.
Because the animal moved so fast before I could look down and then up and then down and then up the animal would be in a different pose. This made it hard to try to sketch the whole pose.
So I found it pretty fun juggling the two that is starting from having to see the animal to draw it, and then changing to glancing at the animal and trying to complete the pose from most recent memory.
These two doodles show the subtle differences in the two approaches. The second doodle is the not look up until finished pose approach.
