Translating knowledge of Dog anatomy to other Animals

Happy Friday,

Today i was finding it fun to try to begin translating knowledge of dog anatomy to other animals.
It was very helpful to search for "mammal size comparison chart" in google to find some reference.  I'm still new to understanding proportions but it was really helpful to begin learning to draw animals like elephants, tigers, bears relative to a human and dog.

These are some of my doodles from today.

 i began by experimenting with dog head proportions for different dog breeds

here i'm starting to experiment with proportion.

in above i was trying to go for bear proportion relative to dog, and tiger proportion relative to dog.
