Today i used flash to make this walk cycle. I found it helpful to try to apply the sketching from life flow lines to a first rough layer. I then faded out this layer and drew over on a new one to better define skeleton. In flash it was helpful to set hot keys for (insert blank key frame, insert frame, loop playback, add a new layer).
