I'm finding it really fun to look at a still life and try to use some of its form to design cartoony dog characters. Here are some of my sketches in the last week, towards the beginning are some of my sketches from fall last year I really enjoy drawing animals and life in movement. I'm finding varying between drawing from still life and drawing from life is pretty fun and relaxing. Also when drawing fast moving animals i like to make quick marks (less than 5 seconds) of the animal, then right next to that drawing i try to use some skeleton anatomy knowledge to try to fill in where other parts of animal go.
