Ideas For Adding simple props to A doodle

Hi,
Here are a couple of ideas I used in tweaking a rough doodle I made using photoshop.

Here are some rough guidelines I made

INSTALL SIMPLE GREY

1. open pencil doodle in photoshop

2. if doodle has a different color background remove it using wand selection tool and expanding selection by 1 pixel or so. Then deleting selection.

3. add rough grey over the doodles using big brush and multiply on

4. erase out major areas of grey

5. ink in in basic outline on new layer

6. erase all pencil for that area

7. refine the grey

INSTALL SIMPLE BACKGROUND

1. hide other sketches

2. install character in simple grey

3. with as big a brush as possible using blue color paint in ideas for where want something for background

4. use a grey lighter than main character and block in some plane shapes (think a little about perspective here )

5. use grey and block in some smaller shapes

6. use a thin ink and block in some of those shapes

INSTALL BASIC CLEAN

1. remove non visible layers

2. merge all visible layers

3. put separate panels on different layers

4. arrange panels

5. paint in fix spots etc

cheers,
Nate
