Hi,
Here i show a maya technique to create squashy effect on cartoony shapes for rigging.
Some techniques used were
-blendshapes via lattices
-soft modification(s) to create blendshape targets
-referencing (simulate we brought in Modeler's geo that could change)
-expressions (.. max function )
